In addition, the group also offers interim finance to business enterprises pending reorganization or going public to generate fee income. The operations of the group are carried on in Europe, Canada and the United States. In Oct 2001, the group expanded the merchant banking operations by acquiring prada holdings, ltd., an austrian trading group and approximately 53% of trimble resources corporation. As on 08-Aug-2002 the group acquired 85.3% of banff resources ltd.
