The group operates through three segments: construction and mining equipment, industrial machinery, vehicles & others and electronics. The products of the construction and mining equipment includes excavating equipment, loading, grading, roadbed preparation equipment, hauling equipment, tunneling machines, recycling equipment, engines, components, casting products and other equipment. The electronic segment manufactures semiconductor materials and manufacturing equipment, which includes electronic materials, communications equipment, control equipment and temperature control equipment. The products classified as other include metal forging, stamping presses, sheet-metal machines, machine tools, industrial vehicles, logistics and defense systems. In fiscal 2004, the group acquired partek forest ab and partek forest holdings llc.
