The group's principal activities are to provide electric utility and banking services through its subsidiaries. The group operates in two business segments. The electric utility segment generates, purchases, transmits, distributes and sells electric energy. The bank segment provides a full range of banking services to individual and business customers through its branch system in Hawaii.
