The group's principal activities are refining and marketing petroleum products in New Mexico, Arizona and Colorado. The operations are carried out through three segments: refining group, retail group and phoenix fuel. The refining group consists of three refineries, which manufacture various grades of gasoline, diesel fuel and other products from crude oil, other feedstocks and blending components. The retail group consists of service station/convenience stores and one travel center. These operations sell various grades of gasoline, diesel fuel, general merchandise and food products to the general public through retail locations. The phoenix fuel segment distributes petroleum fuels and lubricants.
