The group's principal activity is to attract deposits from the general public and lend loans. The deposit instruments include now accounts, regular savings, money market deposit, term certificate accounts and individual retirement accounts. The loan portfolio includes real estate loans and non-real estate loans including commercial loans, consumer installment loans, credit card advances and loans secured by savings accounts, automobiles, mobile homes, boats, recreational vehicles and other personal property. The group's operations are carried out through eight full-service facilities located in cheboygan, alpena, iosco, otsego, montmorency and oscoda counties, Michigan.
