The group's principal activities are to acquire, develop, explore and market onshore north American oil and natural gas reserve. The group operates wells in fields located in the williston basin of Montana and North Dakota, the permian basin of Texas and New Mexico, the anadarko basin of Oklahoma and the powder river basin of Montana. In 2003, the total wells included 95.7 operated wells and 7.9 non-operated well. The oil and natural gas production is principally sold to end users, marketers and refiners. On 14-Apr-2004, the group acquired cortez oil & gas, inc.
