The group's principal activity is to develop, manufacture and market consumer, professional, health and other imaging products and services. The group operates through four segments. The photography segment provides traditional and digital product and photographic services. The health imaging segment provides analog products that include medical films, chemicals and processing equipment and services. The commercial imaging segment provides aerial, industrial and micrographic films, micrographics peripherals, large-format ink jet printers, high-speed production document scanners and digital imaging systems. Other imaging segment provides imaging sensor solutions and optics business. The group acquired practiceworks, inc and its subsidiary, trophy radiologie on 07-Oct-2003, laser pacific media corporation on 31-Oct-2003 and algotec systems ltd on 26-Nov-2003. It also acquired scitex digital printing in jan 2004 and chinon industries inc on 27-Feb-2004.
