The group's principal activities are to design, develop, manufacture and market a range of products for the dental market. The group manufactures and distributes dental prosthetics, precious metal dental alloys, dental ceramics, endodontic instruments and materials, prophylaxis paste, dental sealants, ultrasonic scalers, dental injectible anesthetics, crown and bridge materials. Dental equipment includes dental X-ray systems, intraoral cameras, computer imaging systems and related software, handpieces, ultrasonic scalers and polishers and air abrasion systems, used in dental offices for diagnosis and treatment of patients and in dental laboratories. The group distributes dental products in over 120 countries. The group discontinued gendex equipment business in 2003.
