The group's activities are carried out through two divisions: coal: mining, preparation and marketing of steam coal, sold primarily to electric utilities, and metallurgical coal, sold to steel and coke producers. Gas: produces pipeline quality methane gas for sale primarily to gas wholesalers. The group also provides terminal services (including break bulk, general cargo and warehouse services), river and dock services, industrial supply services, coal waste disposal services, land resources, research and development services and power generation.
