The group's principal activity is to design and manufacture custom injection molds for automotive, heavy truck, office furniture and consumer goods industries. The group provides mold design models, mold manufacturing, engineering services and post-molding services to customers on a contract basis. The products include automotive interior and exterior trims, wheel covers, door panels, grills, office chair components and refrigerator and other home appliance parts. The parts comprise of thermoplastics manufactured from plastic resins, primarily polycarbonate, polyethylene and polystyrene. In addition to manufacture, the group also provides program management, industrial design, prototyping and tooling from concept through delivery of complete assemblies. Major customers of the group include electrolux and johnson controls inc. The group has four automated custom injection molding plants with in Michigan.
