The group's principal activity is to supply a broad range of integrated systems, modules and components serving light vehicle, commercial truck, trailer and specialty original equipment manufacturers and certain aftermarkets. The operations are carried out through three segments: light vehicle system: supplies air and emissions systems and aperture systems. Commercial vehicle system: supplies drivetrain systems and components, braking systems and suspension systems. Light vehicle aftermarket: supplies exhaust, ride control and filter products to the passenger car, light truck and sport utility aftermarket. The group operates 153 manufacturing facilities in 26 countries. International operations accounted for 50% of total sales. During fiscal 2003, it acquired remaining 51% interest in zeuna starker gmbh & co kg.
