The group's principal activities are to design, develop and manufacture signal processing equipment to collect and process telecommunication signals. The equipment is used for the reconnaissance, gathering and analysis of foreign telecommunications, predominantly by the United States government and its foreign allies. It scans thousands of cellular telephone, microwave, ship-to-shore and military transmissions in the radio frequency, evaluates them and selects the ones that contain relevant information. The group's subsidiary, enetsecure, inc offers market intrusion detection technology with its product, icemon, to detect unauthorized system entry for the purpose of altering or pirating data on networks. Transcendent technologies, inc, another subsidiary constructs monitoring products to improve the quality of satellite telecommunications. The major customer is the United States government with its six military and intelligence agencies.
