The group's principal activity is to provide wholesale mortgage banking services. The group's operating subsidiary, American mortgage network inc (amnet) provides mortgage banking services. Amnet originates loans through mortgage brokers and then sells them to institutional purchasers through a network of regional offices in the United States. All servicing rights are also sold along with the mortgage loans. The group elected to terminate its status as a real estate investment trust in 2003.
