The group's principal activity is to supply industrial gases and related process equipment. The gases segment recovers and distributes industrial gases such as oxygen, nitrogen, argon, hydrogen and medical and specialty gases. This segment also includes power generation and fuel gas treatment businesses. The chemicals business segment produces and markets performance chemicals and chemical intermediates. The equipment business segment supplies cryogenic and other process equipment and related engineering services. The group has its operations in the United States, Europe, Canada, Latin America and Asia. On 09-Jul-2002, the group acquired 70% interest in san fu chemical company ltd, on 01-Oct-2002, American homecare supply llc and on 05-Nov-2002, home health services inc.
