The group's principal activity is to produce microelectronic and testing solutions. The products are used in the aerospace, defense, fiber optic, wireless and satellite communications markets. It designs and manufactures motion control systems and shock and vibration isolation systems which are used for commercial, industrial and defense applications. The group operates through three segments: microelectronic solutions, test solutions and isolator products. Microelectronic solutions designs custom and standard integrated circuits such as databuses, transceivers, microcontrollers, microprocessors and memories that are radiation tolerant and are used for satellite and space applications. Test solutions provides product enhancement to communications systems manufacturers. Isolator products designs, develops, manufactures and sells shock and vibration isolation system. On 03-Sep-2003, the group acquired mce technologies inc and on 31-Oct-2003, celerity systems inc.
