The group's principal activitiy is to provide broadband network equipment, software and systems integration services. The group's services enable communications service providers to deliver high-speed Internet, data, video and voice services to consumers and businesses. The group operates in two segments: broadband infrastructure and access business provides network infrastructure products for wireline, cable and wireless communications network applications; digital subscriber line offerings for the telecommunications industry; and Internet protocol based offerings for the cable industry. Integrated solutions business provides system integration services and operations support system software for broadband and, multiservice communications. The group's customers include telephone companies, cable television operators, wireless service providers, broadcasters, governments, businesses, system integrators and communications equipment manufacturers and distributors.
