Since August 2001, Mr. Goad has been a member in Voyent Partners, L.L.C., a private investment company based in Brentwood, Tennessee. From June 2000 through March 2001, Mr. Goad served as Co-Chief Executive Officer of the transaction services division of WebMD Corporation (Ticker: HLTH), a provider of health care transaction, information and technology services. From March 1999 through May 2000, Mr. Goad served as Senior Advisor to the Office of the President of the transaction services division of Quintiles Transnational Corp. (Ticker: QTRN), a provider of services to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries. Mr. Goad served as Co-Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Envoy Corporation, a provider of electronic transaction processing services for the health care industry, from June 1996 until Envoy was acquired by Quintiles in March 1999. From 1985 to June 1996, Mr. Goad served as President and Chief Executive Officer and as a director of Envoy Corporation. Mr. Goad also serves on the Boards of Directors of Performance Food Group Company (Ticker: PFGC), Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital and several private companies. He was also a founding member of the Nashville Healthcare Council. Mr. Goad received a B.S. Degree from the University of Virginia. |
