Avi Barir leads Aladdin's HASP family of software DRM and licensing solutions and he has driven HASP to the #1 choice of software publishers worldwide. Joining Aladdin in 2000, Avi's career spans nearly three decades in the hi-tech industry, including the information technology, telecom, and defense industries.

Under Avi's leadership, Aladdin received significant recognition for the innovation introduced in Aladdin HASP SRM, the recent generation of its award-winning software DRM products. HASP won the prestigious 2007 Global Frost & Sullivan Award for Product Innovation, underlining its marketing-leading position within the software industry.

Formerly an executive at ECI Telecom, Avi held several international executive positions during his career including marketing, sales, business development, strategic operations and R&D. Avi holds a B.Sc.EE degree from the Technion Israel Institute of Technology, and an MBA from Tel Aviv University.
