Base One Software (Prv.) Ltd. (Base One International's subsidiary in Bangalore, India) Mr. Kumar has over 20 years of software development experience, specializing in Windows and web programming. Prior to joining Base One in 1994, he was a senior software engineer at Coromandel, where he created some of their most successful products. These were commercial tools for programmers, successfully marketed by Microsoft and Borland, for the rapid development of Windows database applications. Mr. Kumar was lead consultant on Base One’s team at Marsh & McLennan. For Deutsche Bank and Competitive Media Reporting, he developed database, screen management, security, and web reporting components. Mr. Kumar has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Mysore, India and has a U.S. patent, jointly held with Mr. Asherman, for high precision database arithmetic.
