Previous Industry Experience:

I was D.H.S. employee #4, doing customer service, software development, and taking care of the cat when Stuart went on vacation. I helped write the early electronic claims submission and Medi-Span interfaces for the DOS version of the software, and continued to work for the company as an independent contractor for two years after I ran away and got married.

Why I work at D.H.S.?

I’ve known Stuart for over 17 years, and his positive attitude, encouragement and vision have changed my life. I’ve lived in Southeast Louisiana for the last three years, and when Hurricane Katrina separated my family for a few months, Stuart and Jeff gave me what I needed most a job, where the work was interesting and useful, and I could make a real contribution.
