Andrew J. Parsons has been a member of the UST Board of Directors since June 2005. He serves as a member of the Audit, Nominating & Corporate Governance and Strategic Review Committees.

Mr. Parsons is a director emeritus at McKinsey & Company, where he retired as a director and senior partner in 2000 and served on its advisory board from 2001 to 2004. Previously, he served in various capacities at Prestige Group Ltd., a division of American Home Products (now Wyeth). He began his career at the London Press Exchange, which was later acquired by the Leo Burnett advertising agency.

Mr. Parsons also serves on the board of directors of A.T. Cross Company.

He holds a Master of Arts degree in modern history from Oxford University and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard University.
