From 1990 to the present, Alan Bender has held various positions with Western Wireless and VoiceStream Wireless from their respective inceptions, including executive vice president and general counsel. From 1988 to 1990, Bender was vice president and senior counsel of a subsidiary of PacifiCorp Inc. He previously practiced law in private firms for over nine years. Bender received a BA degree from Washington University and a JD from Duke University School of Law.
