As former head of corporate development of Into Great Companies, a venture capital firm, he identified and evaluated attractive growth investments. Hired by Express-Med to build growth engines for the company, his successes included new business development, alliance building, technology management, and executive coaching.
Through his leadership at Battelle, a global science and technology enterprise that develops and commercializes technology and manages laboratories, Scantland built profitable business relationships with the company's top ten commercial customers in the U.S., Asia, and Europe.
Mr. Scantland earned a master of science degree in agricultural economics from The Ohio State University and a bachelor of arts degree in biology from Earlham College. |
