Bob is a principal and consulting actuary with the Philadelphia office of Milliman. He joined the firm in 1993.
Experience
Bob is a consulting actuary in the Employee Benefits practice, specializing in defined benefit pension plans and financial reporting on retiree life and health insurance plans. Bob works with both public and private sector clients on single employer, multi-employer, and multiple employer retirement plans. His assignments include actuarial valuations, plan design studies, development of expense and year-end disclosures under SFAS 87 and 106, actuarial audits, mergers and acquisitions, plan terminations, employee communications, and government filings.
Prior to joining Milliman, Bob spent 17 years at The Travelers Insurance Company as a director in the Asset Management and Pension Services Department. At The Travelers, he managed the actuarial consulting practice and served as the enrolled actuary for The Travelers Retirement Plan, which covered in excess of 40,000 participants.
